The Westin South Coast Plaza hotel has named Michael J. Deighton general manager. Deighton has been with Westin Hotels & Resorts since 1974. Most recently, he was general manager of the Westin Williams Center in Tulsa, Okla.
He replaces Robert Seddelmeyer, who has left the hotel business, according to a hotel spokeswoman.
The Westin also promoted Christine Judd to director of marketing. Judd has worked at the hotel since 1983, serving most recently as senior sales manager. She replaces Cindy Novotny, who now works for Westin’s training division.
