Area Football Players Receive Invitations to Arena Training Camp

Three former Orange County college football players were among 99 players invited to Arena Football’s league-wide training camp, the league announced Thursday.

Brian Allen and Quinton Knight, formerly of Cal State Fullerton, were assigned to the Denver Dynamite. Tony Palamara, who played at Saddleback College, was assigned to the Maryland Commandos.

All three played Arena Football last year for teams that were not included in the league’s 1989 plans. Allen, a wide receiver/defensive back, was with the New England Steamrollers; Knight, a lineman, was with the New York Knights, and Palamara, also a lineman, was with the L.A. Cobras.
