Burbank City Attorney Quits to Join Law Firm
Burbank City Atty. Douglas C. Holland announced his resignation Tuesday, saying he is going to become a partner in a private law firm.
Holland has served as city attorney since 1985. Before that, he was an assistant city attorney in Burbank.
Holland emerged into prominence through a City Council led by Mary Lou Howard, who had charged that the previous administration was not paying enough attention to the concerns of Burbank residents.
No replacement for Holland has been announced.
