Actor Griffin O’Neal and Rima Belinda Uranga became husband and wife in a Las Vegas wedding chapel ceremony before about 60 guests over the weekend. The bridegroom’s father, Ryan O’Neal, was among those attending the Sunday night ceremony at the Candelight Wedding Chapel and later threw the newlywed couple a reception at the Dunes Hotel. O’Neal, 24, served a 15-day prison sentence earlier this year for violating terms of probation for his involvement in the 1986 boating death of the son of director Francis Coppola. O’Neal was given the sentence in January for not performing 400 hours of community service ordered by the judge who found him guilty of reckless boating in the accident that killed Gian-Carlo Coppola. In arguing for lenience on the violation, an attorney for O’Neal described him as struggling for minor acting roles while working part-time as a painter, gardener and laundry deliveryman.
