N. Hollywood Woman Found Slain in Car
Police are investigating the stabbing death of a North Hollywood woman whose body found Wednesday in the front seat of her parked car in North Hollywood.
A passer-by discovered the body of Bertha Alicia Herrera-Mendoza, 33, at about 8:30 a.m. in the car in the 5800 block of Cleon Avenue, Officer Jerry Sexton said.
Authorities have not identified any suspects or motive in the killing. The woman died of multiple stab wounds, Sexton said.
