Lost Boy, 3, Is Found Safe

PORTLAND, Ore. — A 3-year-old boy who had disappeared Friday emerged from dense woods with a neighbor’s three dogs Sunday, walked up to search crews and asked for a cookie. Joseph Edwin Leffler was hungry but was otherwise fine, authorities said. He had gone into the foothills of the Cascade Range on an imaginary fishing trip with the dogs.
