THE SIDELINES : Olympian Lewis on Tyson Title Bill
Lennox Lewis, the Olympic super-heavyweight boxing champion, will fight on the under-card when Mike Tyson defends his world heavyweight title in Atlantic City on July 19.
Lewis, 23, who boxed for Canada at the Seoul Olympics and now is based in his native England, will meet American Bruce Johnson, who has won five and lost six.
The 6-foot, 5-inch Briton won his first professional fight when he stopped English journeyman Al Malcolm in two rounds at London’s Royal Albert Hall in June.
“I feel good about it, and it will be good to get that kind of exposure on a world title bill,” Lewis said of his upcoming U.S. debut.
