Man Enters Plea in Car Salesman Killing
A Florida man pleaded innocent Tuesday to a charge of murdering a Los Angeles car salesman who disappeared during a test drive in April.
Yale Booska, 22, of Ocoee, Fla., was arraigned in Los Angeles Municipal Court on a murder charge that was filed after Charles Washington’s body was found last weekend.
Washington, 61, a salesman at the Barish Chrysler Plymouth dealership on La Brea Avenue, accompanied a man on a test drive of a new car April 17 and disappeared.
Police in Seward, Neb., arrested Booska on April 20 after he ran a red light and sped off in the missing 1989 Chrysler Conquest.
