Santa Monica : Mounted Police Post Cards
To promote the Police Department’s mounted patrol unit, officers are handing out post cards with pictures of themselves and their horses.
The cards show officers Marianne Fullove, Andy Meyer, Betsy Stratton and Mario Toti sitting on their horses under the entrance to the Santa Monica Pier.
The department has printed 4,000 post cards at a cost of $389 from the department’s community relations budget.
The cards will be handed out at school events, parades and Little League games.
