Golfing great Tony Lema and four former stars of Oakland and San Francisco pro sports franchises have been named to the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame.
Football stars Jimmy Johnson of the San Francisco 49ers and Fred Biletnikoff, plus baseball standouts Catfish Hunter of the Oakland Athletics and Orlando Cepeda will be inducted along with Lema, who died in a 1966 plane crash, at a dinner on Feb. 15, 1989.
