KCBS-TV anchor Bree Walker will be back as host for the fifth edition of “People Magazine on TV” when it comes along Aug. 16 on CBS. Walker also will do some on-location interviews for the hourlong program.
The new season of PBS’ “Great Performances” will be launched in October with Jerome Kern’s classic musical, “Show Boat.” The production, taped live at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey, features Eddie Bracken.
In cable super-station TBS’ August premiere of “Coming Home: A Rockin’ Reunion,” Dick Clark will feature a 1985 jam session with rock ‘n’ roll pioneers Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and the late Ray Orbison.
