Quarterback Doug Williams of the Washington Redskins was admitted to a Virginia hospital for treatment of a back injury. Williams said Sunday that he had suffered the injury about six weeks ago while running on a treadmill.
Team officials said that Williams, who has already missed a week of training camp, will be in traction for at least a week.
