TUCSON, Ariz. — A county official says people have made such a big deal about his reporting of marijuana pollen levels for allergy sufferers that he no longer will provide the data.
“It’s just becoming an unduly great issue considering the fact the pollen is relatively insignificant in terms of our total counts,” said Mark Sneller, who runs the Pima County Health Department’s pollen- and mold-detecting programs.
He said Thursday he would include marijuana pollen in the catch-all category of “others.”
