HILVERSUM, Netherlands —
Karel Novacek of Czechoslovakia defeated Emilio Sanchez of Spain 6-2, 6-4 today to capture the Hilversum tennis tournament.
The eighth-seeded Novacek needed one hour, 10 minutes to oust Sanchez, who was seeded second, in a match that had been scheduled for Sunday but was postponed because of persistent rain at the Melkhuisje tennis complex.
