Adam Clayton, bass guitarist with the superstar Irish rock band U2, appeared in court in Dublin, Ireland, Monday accused of two drug offenses. The 29-year-old musician was arrested near his Dublin home Sunday night and charged with possessing marijuana and intending to supply the drug to another person. Clayton said nothing in court and was granted bail until the next hearing on Sept. 1. U2’s album “The Joshua Tree” won a Grammy Award last year.
