A hand injury has forced George Foreman, former heavyweight boxing champion, to pull out of his fight against Michael Greer in Las Vegas Aug. 17.
Foreman is scheduled to return to the ring Sept. 14 as part of a doubleheader in San Jose. Foreman’s opponent for that fight has not been determined.
Foreman, 40, hurt his hand in his last fight, a 10-round decision over Everett (Big Foot) Martin on July 20. It was Foreman’s 19th consecutive victory.
