La Habra’s May Trails by 3 in State Open Golf
Bob May of La Habra shot a 72 to slip into third-place tie Thursday after three rounds of the California State Open in Rancho Mirage.
May, who had rounds of 65 and 69, is tied with Ted Lehmann of Thousand Oaks. Both are three strokes back at 205.
Brad Bell of Sacramento had an eagle-3 to shoot six-under 66 to take the lead.
