A singer and two crew members with LL Cool J’s rap band were scheduled for court appearances today after being charged with raping a 15-year-old girl who attended an post-concert party in Minneapolis after winning a backstage pass in a radio contest. The girl told authorities that six to eight men taunted her during the assault and made comments such as, “When’s it going to be our turn?” Singer David James Parker, 26, and band technician Gary Chris Saunders, 22, both of New York City, and bodyguard Christopher Elias Tsipouras, 26, of Union, N.J., were charged Friday with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, said Kevin Johnson, assistant Hennepin County attorney. LL Cool J, whose real name is James Todd Smith, was not involved in the incident after Wednesday night’s concert and did not meet the 15-year-old, police said. He and the rest of his group were continuing their three-month national tour.
