LOCAL : Driver Flees Fatal Santa Ana Hit-Run

A 45-year-old man trying to cross a busy Santa Ana street was struck and killed by the driver of a beige pick-up truck, police said. The driver fled.
The man, whose name was withheld until relatives could be notified, was in a crosswalk on West McArthur Boulevard at Bristol Street at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday when the truck struck him. The driver, a woman, sped off. Police said they had a lead and expected to make an arrest today.
