Santa Ana : College Offers Credit for Study in England

Transferable college credit will be offered for students who want to spend the spring studying in the historic university town of Oxford, England, in Rancho Santiago College’s new International Education Program.

Participants must enroll in an academic program of 12 units or more from courses like “Britain and the West,” “America’s British Heritage,” “The Emergent World Order” and “Shakespeare’s Theatre.” Students will stay with a British family during their three months abroad.

Cost of the program is $3,175 and includes round-trip air fare from Los Angeles to London, rent for the private room, daily continental breakfast and dinner, various field trips and insurance.

From Jan. 25 through Feb. 21, 1990, students will study at Rancho Santiago. They will go to Oxford on Feb. 22 and remain through May 17, with free travel time during the week of spring break.
