Former pro basketball player Marvin (Bad News) Barnes was arrested for investigation of shoplifting in separate thefts from a store in East San Diego late last month, police said.
Barnes, 37, is being held in county jail in lieu of $4,000 bail, police spokesman Dave Cohen said.
Cohen said Barnes faces charges of felony petty theft in the alleged theft of videos and women’s undergarments from the Adult Book and Video Store.
