Barton Industries Inc. of Shawnee, Okla., announced that its president and chief executive, C.W. Earl Johnson, has been named chairman. Johnson succeeds John P. Inda, who resigned from the board. Barton is a manufacturer and supplier of valves and related automation equipment for oil and gas wells, gas distribution systems and gas transmission lines.
