L. A. Baptist 15, Cathedral 12--Quarterback Chris Robinson scored the winning touchdown on a 55-yard keeper with six minutes to play at Monroe High to erase a 12-8 deficit and give first-year Coach Mark Bates a victory.
Robinson rushed for 122 in 16 carries and added a 62-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. He accounted for all but 55 of L. A. Baptist’s 171 total yards and also had an interception.
