Lancaster Girl Reported Gang Raped by 5 Men
Deputies are investigating the kidnap and gang rape early Saturday of a 15-year-old Lancaster girl, a Los Angeles County sheriff’s spokesman said.
The incident occurred just after midnight as the victim and another girl were walking on Avenue I near 18th Street East in Lancaster. Five men confronted the girls and forced the victim into their car, but her friend escaped and summoned help, Sgt. Ernie Roop said.
Roop said the victim was driven several miles away and the men took turns raping her. Her father found her about half an hour later at Avenue E and 10th Street East, about four miles from where she was abducted, Roop said.
The victim was treated and released from Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center.
Roop described the car used by the assailants as “possibly a maroon Cadillac,” but said the girl was unable to identify the men.
