5.8 Quake Hits in Alaska

AMCHITKA, Alaska —
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 rocked Amchitka Island in the central Aleutian chain Wednesday, shaking people awake but causing no damage, officials of the Alaska Tsunami Warning Center said.
