The Orlando Magic, an expansion team in the National Basketball Assn., has signed its top draft pick, forward Nick Anderson of Illinois, to a four-year contract.
The 11th player selected in the draft last June, Anderson averaged 18 points and 7.9 rebounds a game in leading Illinois to the Final Four of the National Collegiate Athletic Assn. tournament.
