San Diego
An unarmed man robbed San Diego High School on Friday morning and escaped with about $1,200, a police spokesman said.
The robber entered the school cafeteria at 6:40 a.m. while employees were preparing for the day’s meals. He beat up employee Judy Adair and took money she had just removed from a safe to be distributed to cafeteria cashiers, police spokesman David Cohen said. Adair suffered minor cuts and bruises, Cohen said.
