Cincinnati Bengals running back Ickey Woods is out for the season after doctors rebuilt his left knee.
Dr. Robert Heidt reconstructed Woods’ knee in an operation after finding that the running back had a torn anterior cruciate ligament and torn cartilege in the knee, which was injured last Sunday.
“The surgery went fine, but Ickey is out for the season,” a team spokesman said.
