Former Bishop Montgomery and El Camino College kicker Doug Pfaff has pulled out two consecutive wins for Arizona with late field goals. His 35-yarder with 1:01 left beat Washington, 20-17, Saturday. The week before, Pfaff’s 40-yarder with two seconds left beat Oklahoma, 6-3.

El Camino College quarterback Frank Dolce completed 20 of 28 passes for 280 yards and three touchdowns in a 36-17 triumph over Orange Coast, helping the Warriors extend their winning streak to nine games.

Mira Costa’s top-ranked girls volleyball team, led by setter Piper Hahn, defeated Corona del Mar in four games to capture the title in the Tournament of Champions in Huntington Beach.
