Wheelchair Tennis Finals Are Set for Saturday in Torrance
The finals of the Norris Foundation World Wheelchair Tennis Invitational will be held Saturday at South End Racquet Club in Torrance. The women’s final is at 9 a.m; the men’s final at 3 p.m.
Fifteen players--eight men and seven women--are competing in the tournament, which began Thursday.
Randy Snow of Birmingham, Ala., the No. 1-ranked player in the world, is expected to be challenged by Brad Parks of San Clemente. The top women’s competitors are Monique E. VandenBosch and Ellen Delange, both of the Netherlands.
