Fountain Valley : Woman Dies of Injuries From Traffic Collision
A Fountain Valley woman died Wednesday morning at UCI Medical Center in Orange after a traffic accident Tuesday night.
Michelle Ann Camacho, 19, died at 3 a.m., the county coroner’s office said.
Police Sgt. Larry Griswold reported that a 16-year-old girl was making a left turn from Falcon Avenue onto Ward Street in Fountain Valley when her 1979 Chrysler collided with Camacho’s 1964 Volkswagen.
The 16-year-old and her 15-year-old sister, who was riding with her, were treated for minor injuries at the scene and released.
Police are investigating the accident to determine responsibility.
