A Paradise Found at Popular Prices

Share

If you’re looking for Paradise, you’ll be pleased to know that it can now be found at the intersection of the Harbor and San Diego freeways. In Los Angeles, to be exact, at 889 W. 190th St. If you want to call Paradise, you can reach it at (213) 324-4800. And Paradise, of course, is open every day.

This particular Paradise is populated with a potpourri of dishes that have ascended from earthly places. Where did we last see that baked goat-cheese salad? Wasn’t that south-of-the-border pizza a hot ticket someplace else? And just look at the list of dishes--Caesar salad, rotisserie chicken, tuna nicoise, pasta roma--every one a proven hit. As for the drinks with silly names like “Bananarama,” “Purple Passion”--have a couple, and you really will believe that you have died and gone to heaven.

But although Paradise may be big and loud, the food is decent and the prices are reasonable. Individual pizzas start at $5.75, the pastas are below $10 and a steak comes in at $16.95. Isn’t it nice to know that in Paradise you find popular prices?
