Right after Michael Chang accomplished his Grand Slam win, I heard about the 17-year-old Chinese American and waited and looked for some information about him, which unfortunately was not forthcoming until your article.

I wonder, was it because of his ethnic background or the fact that he is a born-again Christian that we have heard so little of the phenomenal accomplishment by such a young American? Or maybe it was because of his lack of a surly attitude or a fat mouth that he lost out on the abundant press the other champions seem to get.
