Art director Edward Carfagno and writer-producr-director Philip Dunne will be the first two subjects to be interviewed for a new oral history project by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. It will document the lives and careers of selected individuals who have made major contributions to films. Carfagno is a three-time Oscar winner who designed more than 70 movies, including “Quo Vadis,” “The Bad and the Beautiful” and “Ben Hur.” Dunne, who has two Oscar nominations, was with 20th Century Fox for 20 years.
