Michaels to Skip Rams, Stick With Series

Al Michaels will not be part of ABC-TV’s “Monday Night Football” telecast featuring the Rams and Bills in Buffalo tonight.

Michaels will remain in the Bay Area, where he is doing play-by-play for the network’s broadcasts of the World Series between the Athletics and Giants.

Dan Dierdorf and Frank Gifford will be the announcers for the football game, which starts at 6 p.m on Channel 7.
