Oklahoma Athletic Director Donnie Duncan said that Bob Marcum, former South Carolina athletic director, should not have been held accountable for the failure of the school’s drug-testing program.
Duncan said team physician Paul Akers, who actually ran the program, should have been held accountable. Marcum was fired after a university task force found that South Carolina did not have an adequate drug-testing program.
