Pedestrian Killed in Garden Grove

GARDEN GROVE — A man was struck by a car and fatally injured Friday night as he tried to cross a street, police said Saturday.
The man, whose name was being withheld until relatives could be told of his death, was crossing at mid-block on Chapman Avenue, east of Harbor Boulevard, about 8 p.m. when he was hit by a car.
The driver of the car, Kristi Watson, 27, of Anaheim, was not charged, police said.
