Arson Suspected in Fire That Killed 2

A suspected arson fire killed two men and injured a woman in Long Beach early Saturday. Sean Duffy, 30, and Jerry Dean Lindsey, 37, were alive when firefighters pulled them out of the burning house on Wardlow Road, but they died of smoke inhalation at Long Beach Community Hospital.
“At 6:30 a.m., for a house to be totally involved like that is really rare, so that leads us to believe it was foul play,” Long Beach Fire Department spokesman Bob Caldon said.
