Following are last week’s top collegiate football performances by South Bay high school graduates: Treamelle Taylor, Nevada-Reno, junior: The former Hawthorne receiver caught 10 passes for 116 yards and one touchdown in a 47-15 win over Weber State. The previous week, Taylor had 13 receptions for a Big Sky Conference-record 299 yards and three TDs, including a 98-yard catch that tied an NCAA Division I-AA record, in a loss to Montana. Fred Gatlin, Nevada-Reno, freshman: The former Carson quarterback completed 17 of 31 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns in the Wolf Pack’s victory to raise his season passing total to 1,328 yards. John Wesselman, San Diego State, senior: The former West Torrance safety had nine tackles, including two for losses, and three pass deflections in a 35-7 win over Pacific. Wesselman leads the Aztecs in tackles. Paul Hill, Oregon State, junior: The former South Torrance linebacker had five tackles in an 18-17 victory over UCLA. Doug Pfaff, Arizona, senior: The former Bishop Montgomery kicker had field goals of 24, 27 and 28 yards in a 23-21 win over Washington State. Pfaff has made 11 of 12 field goals this season. George Malauulu, Arizona, freshman: The former Carson quarterback completed five of 10 passes for 84 yards and one touchdown in the Wildcats’ victory. Brian Treggs, UC Berkeley, sophomore: The former Carson wide receiver caught seven passes for 127 yards and one touchdown in a 29-16 loss to Washington.
