The body of a Los Angeles woman was found dumped beside a curb early Thursday in Griffith Park less than an hour after the woman was hit on the head and killed, Los Angeles police said.
A man driving home from work alerted park rangers when he spotted the 38-year-old woman’s nude body about 4:30 a.m. on Zoo Drive east of Victory Boulevard, Detective Sam Jacobellis said. Authorities declined to identify the woman until next of kin were notified.
Investigators, who have not established a motive or list of suspects, said they believe the woman died about 4 a.m. of a blow to the head.
Police identified the woman through fingerprints.
