L.A. Harbor College’s woes continued Saturday with a 62-26 loss at Glendale College.

The loss dropped Harbor to a 2-5 overall record and 1-5 in the Western State Conference and kept the Seahawks at the bottom of the Northern Division.

Glendale moves to a 4-3-1 overall and a 4-1-1 record in the Northern Division of the WSC.

The key for the Glendale team was an outstanding performance by Wes Bender, who rushed 11 times for 103 yards and four touchdowns, three of them in the first half as Glendale built a 33-20 lead. Adding to the offensive statistics were Sean Hampton, with 18 rushes for 146 yards and one touchdown on a 24-yard pass reception, and Doug Dragomer, with 12 rushes for 110 yards.

Glendale quarterback Ronnie Lopez also had an exceptional game, completing 12 of 17 passes for 253 yards and three touchdowns. His first touchdown pass, a 42-yarder, came on the second play of the game.
