Unidentified Man Shot to Death in East S.D.

Homicide detectives were investigating the fatal shooting of an unidentified man whose body was found early Sunday in East San Diego.
Police found the body at the back of a construction site in the 2900 block of Chollas Road about 6 a.m. when they responded to reports of shots being fired.
The victim appeared to be between 30 and 40 years old and wore a blue jogging suit, police said.
Neighbors told police they heard a vehicle speeding away from the scene shortly after shots were fired.
