Quarterback Joe Montana’s sprained knee ligament probably will be sufficiently healed for him to start for the San Francisco 49ers against the New Orleans Saints at Candlestick Park Sunday. Backup Steve Young suffered a sprained right knee and ankle last Sunday and is listed as questionable.
