Indians
In response to a letter written by Jai Somanath (Oct. 24), I would like to thank him for giving the Indians of the Americas a lot of credit. He did what the Europeans, including the Spanish, have never done--he spoke well of the accomplishments of Indian civilizations in the Americas.
