Right-handed pitcher Dan Petry of the Angels was among six baseball players filing for free agency Monday.
Also filing were Detroit outfielder Fred Lynn, Cincinnati catcher Bo Diaz, Montreal second baseman Damaso Garcia and pitcher Bob Knepper, and San Francisco third baseman Ken Oberkfell.
