A mayor will be chosen in Huntington Beach at Monday’s City Council meeting to serve a one-year term. Mayor Wes Bannister has held the position since November, 1988. The City Council meets at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, 2000 Main St., Huntington Beach.
