Has CBS Snared ‘Batman’?: The super-hit movie “Batman” appears headed for showing on CBS. The Hollywood Reporter said Wednesday that the network had paid upward of $20 million for the TV broadcast rights to the film, which has grossed some $251 million in theatrical revenues and which just hit the home-video market. “Batman” could swoop onto CBS for the first of several showings in May, 1991.
