LOCAL : Crash Kills Canoga Park Driver
A 30-year-old motorist was killed when he lost control of his car and crashed into a parked car and a tree in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles police said this morning.
Christopher Urquidez of Canoga Park was fatally injured about 7 p.m. Thursday in the accident on Dumetz Road, just east of Topanga Canyon Boulevard, Officer Ken Grik said.
Urquidez was eastbound on Dumetz when his car struck a car parked beside the road, then careened into a tree, Grik said. Urquidez was dead at the scene. The accident is under investigation.
