Driver Killed When He Hits Parked Car, Tree

A 30-year-old motorist was killed when he lost control of his car and crashed into a parked car and a tree in Woodland Hills, police reported Friday.
Christopher Urquidez of Canoga Park was fatally injured about 7 p.m. Thursday in the accident on Dumetz Road, just east of Topanga Canyon Boulevard, Officers said Urquidez was driving east on Dumetz when his auto struck a parked car and careened into a tree. Urquidez died at the scene.
