‘Nasty Boys’ Set as Replacement: “Nasty Boys,” the NBC pilot based on the real life adventures of a Las Vegas Narcotics Bureau, has won a spot as a mid-season replacement series after the pilot’s good showing in September. Dennis Franz of “Hill St. Blues” will star as undercover cop Lt. Krieger, “the dirtiest cop in Las Vegas.” . . . ABC has given a vote of confidence to “Young Riders,” its prime-time action adventure series about the riders of the Pony Express, by ordering 24 episodes--two more than the industry standard. The series becomes the first new show of the season to get such a network nod.
